The banqueting menus begin with treats including chef Wu’s dim sum selection and tea smoked duck salad, followed by aromatic duck, fillets of sea bass, beef tenderloin in black pepper and Singapore Cricket Club noodles. Choose three courses for £35 or push the slow boat out and have four courses for £45. Available from 22 November to 23 December.

There's a Mediterranean theme at stylish Jermyn Street restaurant Franco’s (tel: 020 7499 2211, squaremeal.co.uk/xmas-franco). Groups of 10 to 55 can tuck in to the Italian-style Christmas menu featuring dishes such as fresh porcini salad with celery & white truffle, pheasant ravioli with rosemary sauce and roast turbot with braised leeks & lobster bisque. Minimum spend of £3,000 applies.

INDIAN
Add some heat

The diamonds in Masala World’s crown – Amaya, Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy (tel: 020 7724 2525, squaremeal.co.uk/xmas-mas) are offering Christmas lunch and dinner menus. Think venison seekh kebab, masala lobster, and lemongrass & ginger brulée. Book a table in the main restaurants, or take over one of the private party rooms. Chutney Mary and Veeraswamy are offering a 10 per cent discount between 24 December and 15 January. Lunch menus start at £25 and dinner menus cost from £32 before discounts.

THAI
Spiced celebrations

Head to Nahm (tel: 020 7333 1234, squaremeal.co.uk/xmas-nahm) for Michelin-starred Thai cuisine this Christmas. Begin your evening with a Louis Roederer champagne reception including Thai canapés at The Halkin Bar, followed by a traditional Thai banquet. Four courses of sharing dishes – including salad of langoustine with Thai basil & caramelised peanuts and curried goose – are rounded off with flowering Dragon Eye tea. Lunch and dinner packages are available from £50 per person.
