Nightclub power-duo Nick House and Piers Adam have brought a slice of Austria to Kensington with the opening of their new venue Bodo’s Schloss. The restaurant, bar and disco, which opened on High Street Kensington last week, is reminiscent of an Alpine lodge, decked out in traditional stone and wood from the Tyrol. Food comes courtesy of Speck Mobile – a well-known name on the street food scene that offers the likes of dumplings, goulash and plenty of schnitzel, served up by waiters in lederhosen. The disco booth is set in a retro cable car and in the style typical to Brompton Brands, drinks are served in usual receptacles, such as a milk urn full of Champagne. The venue holds up to 350 guests for a reception.
