THE VENUE: Islington's exclusively veggie venue, The Window
THE THEME: Bollywood
THE MENU: organic veggie canapés in bountiful supply chickpea flour crackers served with a spicy beetroot raita dip; wholegrain flour crackers topped with beetroot confit; puri filled with a spicy potato coriander mix; spicy paneer patties; sweet potato ginger and coriander samosas; tandoori paneer skewers; lentil vadai balls topped with yogurt; sweetened milk with vermicelli, pistachios and almonds
TO DRINK: Champagne, red and white wine and fruit juice
THE ENTERTAINMENT: DJ Swami on the decks; Bollywood-themed music; Bollywood dance workshop; an impressive (and loud) Indian drum performance
THE TALKING POINT: Everyone joining in the Bollywood dance workshop. We certainly need more practise
WE LOVED: The panoramic views from the building's top-floor event space
