The boutique Bermondsey Square Hotel is part of a wave of venues upping south London's cool credentials. And what could be
hipper than a hot tub on the roof, especially one that comes with butler service and overlooks the best bits of London's skyline, with vistas stretching from Canary wharf all the way over to the
London Eye?
The
hotel's roof terrace can only be accessed by booking one of the four Loft Suites which lead out onto it. Each suite is names after ladies in iconic 60s songs: Lily, Ruby, Judy and Lucy. All four
can be hired as a group, holding 16, or you can hire them each individually and invite guests to join you on the roof for a party. The hot tub only seats eight, though, so you might have to jostle
for space. 'The roof is bests served when hired for an incentive treat or party,' says Bermondsey Square's marketing manager, Sarah Hernandez. 'We’re opening it up this year for Christmas and New
Year's parties too.'
