Holi Tasting Menu at The Cinnamon Club

To celebrate Holi, a Hindu festival that marks the passing of winter and the arrival of spring, Westminster modern Indian restaurant The Cinnamon Club is putting on a special five-course tasting menu from 1-6 March.

Also called the Festival of Colours – and traditionally celebrated by throwing paint over one another – Holi is celebrated at the end of the winter season, on the day of the last full moon of the lunar month.

Priced at just £45 per person, The Cinnamon Club’s Holi tasting menu is as follows:

Appetiser
A selection of Holi snacks such as rabbit tikka and jalapeño fritter with a shot of lentil soup

Starters
Ravioli of wild mushrooms, tomato truffle sauce

Free-range chicken tikka terrine, honey mustard dressing

Mid-course
Pomegranate and mint sorbet

Mains
Paneer soola and calabash fritter with yoghurt sauce

Roast rack of Cumbrian mutton, mint and onion sauce

Dessert
Milk chocolate dhokla
