Celebrate summer at Rekorderlig’s Midsummer House

This June and July, Rekorderlig will celebrate the best of this summer’s sunny days and balmy nights at Midsummer House – a Swedish hideaway popping up in the heart of East London.

Midsummer House will transport drinkers to a pop-up Swedish summer house – a blissful, Scandi-style oasis that feels a world away from the urban capital. The summer house will be decorated with authentic Swedish homely touches, while the relaxed decked terrace will overlook the tranquil waters of the lake, as chilled beats are pumped through the house.

Regardless of whether the English summer lives up to its promise, the Rekorderlig will flow at Midsummer House. Since no summer day or evening is complete without a group of friends and a BBQ, native Scandinavian chefs Norse by Norsewest will serve up a menu of grilled Swedish-style hot dogs with freshly made toppings including wild lingonberry, cucumber relish, prawn salad and Danish remoulade.

During the pop up, the Midsummer House bar will serve Rekorderlig’s extensive range of fruit ciders, including its limited edition Passionfruit flavour. Plus, the bar’s mixologists have created a menu of cider cocktails especially for the pop-up experience.

The full Rekordelig cider cocktail menu is as follows:

Rekorderlig Svenska Cup
A fresh and fruity blend of Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime, vodka, elderflower and fresh lime juice, topped with cucumber and mint leaves.

Midsummer Martini
Rekorderlig Apple & Blackcurrant shaken with vanilla gomme syrup, gin, and lemon juice, garnished with a twist of lemon.

Rekorderlini
Luxurious blend of Rekorderlig Pear and Champagne, fused with fresh lemon juice and chocolate syrup.

Swedish Apple Beet
Sweet-and-sour mix of muddled beetroot, Courvoisier Cognac, mint leaves and Rekorderlig Apple, served on the rocks.

Stockholm Storm
A refreshing tropical cocktail of dark, light and coconut rums, Chambord raspberry liqueur and Rekorderlig Mango-Raspberry. Served long with fresh orange and mint, over ice.
