Set in Lucknam Park a few miles outside Bath, the five-star hotel’s new cookery school is a suitably gleaming installation that is already winning plaudits. That is, in part, due to the unusual array of courses on offer, from Michelin-Star Cooking at Home, to The Street Food of India. Its popularity can also be attributed to the award-toting course chef Hrishikesh ‘Kesh’ Desai, whose vast knowledge and friendly approach is a winning combination. Practical demonstrations are followed by participation using the state-of-the-art equipment. The day ends with a feast of all that has been created.
