International imports have brought a different flavour to rugby at the Memorial Ground, but the club still have a tradition of bringing through talented young players from across the Bristol area. Recent stars of the international game to wear the navy and blue hoops include Wales experienced Wales forward Gareth Llewellyn and versatile Argentina back Felipe Contepomi. TV chef Keith Floyd is said to be a fan, as is Darth Vader actor David Prowse.
