Worton Hall is a charming, multi-use events venue with an ideal location, just a 15 minute drive from Oxford. Whether you're organising a wedding, birthday party or even a corporate event, guests coming from across the country will have easy access to motorways and public transport.
The main building was originally a historic grain store which has been carefully restored and updated, making it a contemporary space with capacity for up to 280 for seated dinners, cocktail receptions for 400, and meetings and conferences for up to 350 people.
In terms of the space, there are three adjoining function rooms which include The Main Hall, Hayloft Gallery and Cresswell Bar and can be used seperately or together, with adjoining entrances. Thanks to the 2014 remodel, the spaces are open plan, blank canvas' which you can decorate however you like - transforming them for a certain theme or you could even create break out spaces for creative meetings.
Facilities such as a catering kitchen and two bars are all yours - feel free to bring in your own caterers and serve whatever food suits your event best, while the private bars are just for you and your guests to enjoy. In addition to this, expect plenty of space for a dancefloor come the evening, with a stage which is perfect for live music, a star cloth backdrop, customisable LED lighting and in-built wireless sound system.
What's brilliant about this venue is that alongside a selection of events spaces for the main event, there's plenty of options for those staying over, too. This way, guests don't need to worry about getting home after a night of partying and if you want to make it a weekend affair, then that's easily done. There are six self-catering holiday lets in total, each one with a different vibe and capacity. From two-person cottages to the 18-person manor house, there's plenty of options.
