Looking for a venue for your next big birthday, celebration or office do? Well, you don't need to be a Sherlock Holmes fan (although, who isn't?) to enjoy The Mind Palace, a themed speakeasy-style cocktail bar in West London.
The Mind Palace is set within The Game Is Now, an immersive experience offering a range of escape rooms, games and experiences including cocktail lessons and boozy afternoon tea. The bar, however, asks nothing of its guests except sitting back and enjoying an expertly mixed drink.
Harking back to Sherlock's Victorian setting, the decor features floral wallpaper, olive green bar stools and wooden, period-style details so that it really feels like stepping back in time. You'll also find momentos and artefacts from Sherlock's cases positioned around the space to test your knowledge and add to the immersive vibe.
The cocktail menu is, of course, on brand with concoctions such as The Lying Detective with Jameson whisky, Peach Schnapps, lemon and sugar; The Abominable Bridge mixing elderflower liqueur, prosecco, lemon and soda; and The House of the Baskervilles with spiced pumpkin liqueur, coffee and milk.
The Mind Palace has capacity for 80 when sitting and 120 for a drinks reception, but if you were hoping to host more people than that there are options to extend the space by opening up the Library. The team are happy to help devise drinks and food packages to cater for your guests which can be discussed over email or on the phone, but as a guideline canapes and platters are available and priced per person.
If you'd like to add some entertainment to the mix, the team can also arrange for games to be played in amongst dining and drinking.
