Nestled at the rear of the restaurant, the semi-private dining space at Café Murano features simple décor with soft lighting, a large feature mirror, and banquette seating that can accommodate up to 22 guests. The room maintains a sense of seclusion from the hustle and bustle of the main dining room via glass panelled sliding doors, so whilst it’s not fully private, you can enjoy your own exclusive space. For the festive feast itself, Angela Hartnett has devised group dining options focused on the Café Murano classics, all served family style. Before your event, you will be able to select two dishes from each course (up to five), so you can find the perfect fit depending on your budget and style. For a small supplement, you can also enjoy cicchetti on arrival like house arancini, chickpea cracker and pumpkin cream, cavolo nero and smoked speck bruschetta before diving into tasty antipasti dishes. This is followed by pasta, risotto, and gnocchi options for primi, then hearty traditional meat and fish dishes for secondi. Finish with dolci like an indulgent pear and almond tart with mascarpone, or include the cheese course cheese selection from La Fromagerie with fennel crackers and chutney.
