I was very happy to stumble upon PipsDish one night, and have been back many times since. It is more like going to someone's house than a restaurant (the owner will likely shake your hand and chat with you when you walk in), and for that I love it. I don't have the hassle of choosing what to eat, and I know I won't be eating the same things when I go back. The dishes I've had have ranged from very inventive to classic, but all delicious. I guess I don't have to recommend any food specifically, since you're unlikely to come across it or at least won't be able to order it, but I've recently had a heavenly braised lamb and the best eton mess I've come across for a while. The menu is healthy, fresh, and exciting, and the place is a cozy respite from the soulless chains next door. As someone who goes to a lot of theatre and is constantly looking for somewhere to eat in Covent Garden that doesn't have a location on every block, I can't recommend this place more highly.
