There’s so much more to a hot dog than a cheap sausage, pappy bun and copious quantities of red and yellow squirty sauce. Tim and Julie Mills – the team behind this Camden dog-spot – have recognised this gaping hole in the sausage market and brought high quality British meat encased in homemade sourdough buns to north London. Mix it up with imaginative toppings including ahuaca-mulli (chipotle and guacamole) and Major Grey (mango chutney, smoked aubergine and raita), and throw in a side of fries, be they sweet potato or skin-on. If you’re feeling virtuous, salads include roast pumpkin with confit onion and chorizo or lentil and beetroot with cauliflower rice with edamame. A welcome addition to Camden’s dirty dude food dining scene.
