Squashed between a charity shop & a dress agency, this Irish/Australian-run café has a vibe that makes your heart sing on the dullest of Leeds days. Everything is freshly prepared on the premises: delicious scrambled eggs on toasted home-baked soda bread with sweet tomato & chilli relish or generous hot roast beef sandwiches with caramelised onions & Dijon mustard served with homemade coleslaw & cucumber salad. Scones are huge, coffee hisses out of a Gaggia & nothing’s too much trouble. A little suburban paradise.
