The In & Out (officially named Naval and Millitary Club) occupies an elegant Grade II-listed building in St James’s Square. It houses two grand rooms licensed for civil ceremonies, seating 40, 50, 90 or 120 guests in period surrounds with sparkling chandeliers, wood-panelled walls and tall, ornate ceilings. At the heart of the stunning building is a long sweeping staircase ideal for photo opportunities, while a romantic courtyard serves up an alfresco space for up to 300 guests, with or without a marquee perfect for pre-dinner drinks and an evening reception in the summer months. You can invite up to 120 guests to be seated for dinner or 450 for a stand-up reception spreading across the building. There are even 18 bedrooms available for wedding guests, with a complimentary suite offered to the newlyweds. The in-house caterers provide an extensive number of dining options for couples with a range of appealing seasonal three course menus and buffet options to choose from.
For a spring or summer wedding a potential three-course menu could comprise a goats cheese mousse with a black pepper and beetroot meringue, savoury crumbs and a beetroot bread crisp to start, followed by a lemon thyme buttered poached chicken breast, with sweetcorn gnocchi, summer beans and a lovage jus. Finally the feast could be rounded off with a zesty citrus meringue tart with blackcurrants, blackcurrant sorbet and pieces of lightly toasted meringue; or for something more indulgent, a dark chocolate semifreddo accompanied by a refreshing raspberry sorbet and raspberry crumble.
From the beginning to the end their highly professional team will ensure that every aspect of your big day is executed flawlessly so you can enjoy the whole process from the planning through to the event itself safe in the knowledge that every detail will be taken care of.
