Weddings

Do you want your wedding to be in a stunning venue in an outstanding area of natural beauty? Our hall is perfectly placed in the countryside but close enough to the A27 making it an ideal location.  We are a do-it yourself charity run village hall with the wedding party creating the wedding day to how they want it to be. We offer flexibility and choice with experienced professional staff to help, advise and support you as and when you need.

The wedding package is from 4pm before celebration day to noon AFTER the celebration day for the exclusive private use of the whole building excluding office and some storage areas. The terraced area with picnic tables are included in the cost. We have a great range of facilities and plenty of space to cater for a sit down wedding meal, formal or informal to suit your preferences. Have a great party afterwards with a band or DJ playing the music of your choice.

The imagination, the bride and bridesmaids, the fun, the romance.  We are proud that our village hall offers a stunning setting for such an important day.  We hire the hall out for the wedding celebration only although many weddings have had an informal vow ceremony, it is not a legal service but more a blessing as we are not a licensed venue.

• The stunning large hall is sprung wood with underfloor heating and is usually used by the wedding party as the main celebration area.
• The smaller hall is ideal during the day as the children’s play area but come evening it is the chill out zone.   The bar is often set up in this hall so that those who prefer to sit and talk away from the music can.
• The superb foyer where both halls lead off from offers plenty of space for your guests to also sit and soak up the atmosphere in between the jollies of the large hall and the chill out zone of the small hall.
• The surround terrace is for those guests who prefer to commune with nature and have a quiet chat.
• The amazing commercial kitchen can offer constant hot water from the water urn if any of  your guests prefer a cuppa or to create amazing food for the enjoyment of your family and friends.
• WiFi is available throughout the building so that you can upload pictures of the day as you go.
• Decorate the hall as little or as much as you like or as your imagination takes you.
