The staff at the Mercure were lovely. However, I was disappointed there were no tea and coffee facilities in my room. I struggled with being on the top floor as my mobility is not great but when I booked it, I didn't see the option to state this. I visited the hotel the week before, however, I paid £16 more the week after. Also the WIFI signal wasn't great and I had to hotspot from my work phone.

All our rooms have tea and coffee facilities in them, We do apologize if this was not the case during your stay, We will have this looked into. Our rates for the hotel change on a day to day bases. This is something that is out of our control. Rates reflect on events that could be happening around the area. We do apologize that when booking the room it did not give you the option to request a lower room. This we will look into to ensure that future guests do not have this issue.
