Set in the stunning boundaries of Hampshire’s Meon Valley, Holywell Estate offers a picture-perfect, countryside setting for a memorable wedding. You'll be surrounded by rolling hills, ancient woodlands, and peaceful gardens, what more could you want? The estate centres around a historic Grade-II listed house, full of charm and character, and is still home to the Earl and Countess of Clarendon. But many couples are particularly taken by the walled garden, a stunning space complete with fruit trees, manicured lawns and a relaxed, romantic feel, which is perfect for your wedding photographs.
Holywell Hall is a dry hire venue, and the team will work with you to find the perfect suppliers and caterers to make your wedding day something truly spectacular, where everything is personalised and fits your brief to a tee. From the moment your guests arrive to the last glass of wine that’s poured, the experienced Holywell Estate team ensure that everything is taken care of. With your reception, you can move between the spacious and airy garden room and flower-filled terrace, to say your vows, enjoy a toast, and spend time with friends and family. There's enough space for you to put on a live musical performance, have entertainers float around, and get some stunning snaps from your photographer.
In the evening, you'll all move into a marquee on the croquet lawn, and enjoy a fantastic celebration that includes plenty of dancing, dining and drinking. Although during the day you can only invite a maximum number of 120 guests, you'll have more flexibility with numbers in the evening, as your marquee has plenty of space. There's a small amount of accommodation on site, too, including Rose Cottage, which is perfect for the happy couple, or bridal party, with two beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms.
