We’ve rounded up some of our favourite spots for groups big and small to meet
1. Barbican Conference Centre
boardroom meetings in a modern and creative environment
We like the Frobisher Boardroom for meetings of 20 and under. Why? Because of its natural daylight, 80 inch LCD screen, webcam, and USB charging facilities. The art on the walls is a nice touch too.
2. etc venues – 155 Bishopsgate
a prime location that’s easy for everyone to get to
This one is right opposite Liverpool Street station for those coming from across town and further afield. Although mainly geared towards large exhibitions and events, the venue can host large meetings from 70-550 guests.
3. Vintners’ Hall
discussing business in a properly grand setting
The Edwardian Boardroom is decked out with wood-panelled walls, leather chairs and a chandelier. As the ‘spiritual home of the wine trade,’ tastings can also easily be arranged to take your meeting to the next level.
4. Eight Club Moorgate
impressing trendy clients
Guests will enter the two-floor club by way of a speedy penthouse lift. Inside there are five meeting rooms; with dark wood and moody lighting they still manage to be light and bright.
5. South Place Hotel
hitting the informal/formal balance
This D&D London hotel sits between the City and Shoreditch and bridges the gap between the two areas with both hip and stylish rooms. Named after iconic fictional spies, each room is cool enough that you could imagine James Bond in a meeting here.
