We’re rounded up some of our favourite spots for big and small groups to meet

Barbican Conference Centre - venue hire

Best for Boardroom meetings in a modern and creative environment
Capacities 20-1,950

We like the Boardroom in the Frobisher Suite for meetings of 20 and under. Why? Because of its natural daylight, 80-inch LCD screen, webcam, and USB charging facilities. The art on the walls is a nice touch too.

etc venues 155 Bishopsgate - galleria

Best for Its prime location that’s easy for everyone to get to
Capacities 70-550

This one is right opposite Liverpool Street station for those coming from across town and further afield. Although mainly geared towards large exhibitions and events, the venue can also host meetings for those after a more intimate setting.

Banking Hall - venue hire

Best for Big meetings with a touch of glamour (yes, that’s a thing)
Capacities 150-280

Conferences can be held in the Grade II-listed art-deco space, complete with a grand staircase, and the Counting Room. High-end glitz is the order of the day, and there’s an in-house production and AV team to ensure events go smoothly.

Eight Club Moorage Guide

Best for Impressing trendy clients
Capacities 18-150

Guests will enter the two-floor club by way of a speedy penthouse lift. Inside there are five meeting rooms; with dark wood and moody lighting they still manage to be light and bright

South Place Hotel - venue hire

Best for Hitting the informal/formal balance
Capacities 20-100

This D&D London hotel sits between the City and Shoreditch and bridges the gap between the two areas with both hip and stylish rooms. Named after iconic fictional spies, each room is cool enough that you could imagine James Bond in a meeting here.
