Scotland’s largest exhibition centre is getting ready to unveil its £500,000 investment into small and medium-sized meetings: The SEC Meeting Academy.
The self-contained venue is centred around a 400 theatre-style capacity room, with links to breakout rooms and networking spaces. Expect contemporary design with mustard yellow and slate-grey hues, along with plenty of statement furniture. The space can also be used in conjunction with the larger conference facilities in order to provide a VIP area for key guests.
Director of conference sales, Kathleen Warden, says: ‘The SEC Meeting Academy is a fantastic addition to our campus. The new space has integrated informal workstations and charging points, and the latest conferencing technology for interactive sessions.’
Keep an eye out for when it opens in mid-February; bookings are already being taken.
