Tropicana Beach Club will transform its tropical Covent Garden paradise into an icy winter pop-up.
It may be June, but forward-thinking corporates are already booking out the best venue spaces for their Christmas parties. And with this in mind, The Big Freeze is offering standing Christmas parties (or receptions, for any other type of event) for up to 600 people. Bespoke features include snow-clad huts and a frozen lagoon dancefloor, accompanied by live entertainment. Other attractions at this novelty winter venue are giant snowball installations and arctic-inspired cocktails.
The venue can host up to 240 for a sit-down meal if you're keeping things traditional, and the flexible pop-up also offers guests the chance to create their own bespoke menus. Meetings and seminars are also possible with up to 180 seated theatre style.
If you're going more casual, choose between canapés or bowl food, or request food stations.
Even in the bleak midwinter, the venue isn't letting go of its tropical theme: a frozen trolley will be dishing up coconut ice creams, rum ice lollies, and frozen daiquiris if you need to quickly transport back to summer.
