Merchants Tavern in EC2 now open for breakfast meetings

Angela Hartnett and Neil Borthwick’s Shoreditch restaurant, Merchants Tavern, is now open for coffee, breakfast and meetings from 9am. 

There’s a private dining room for 22 (and a free glass of bubbles per guest with all PDR bookings in April) but you’ll also find laptop plug-in points in the business-friendly main restaurant.

A short but sweet breakfast menu ranges from gravlax and chives on soda bread to a streaky bacon and fried egg bun with brown sauce. Yum.
