Chef Nuno Mendes opens a secret restaurant in Shoreditch
Celebrated Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes quietly opened a fine-dining, supper club-like restaurant in East London last week.

It’s called Mãos, which means ‘hands’ in Portuguese. With no markings and no grand entrance, the intimate venue, which only seats 14 around one table, is located above trendy Shoreditch concept store Hostem.

It’s available for exclusive hire, so you can impress your guests with a culinary experience from the man behind a great many London institutions, including celeb haunt Chiltern Firehouse. We’re told the experience lasts three hours, costing £150pp (excluding drinks and service).

And that’s all the information we have. The team behind the project has been very tight-lipped, encouraging guests to ‘experience the place for themselves’.

Intrigued? We know we are.
