Gordon Ramsay’s Camden hotel and restaurant York & Albany has opened its ‘Awfully British Winter Cabin’ just in time for the Christmas party season.
Found within the hotel’s courtyard, the pop-up aims to celebrate all the eccentricities of Britain and its old fashioned lounges. A private hire option allows groups of 10 to don smoking jackets and slippers (provided on arrival) before settling in to afternoon tea, canapés or a proper feast served by the cabin’s own butler.
Inside, the space is decorated with vintage books, union jacks, a grand chandelier, armchairs and sofas. Guests can also help themselves to festive cocktails and mulled wine from the mirrored drinks trolley. As for the food, expect the likes of venison pigs in blankets and haggis sausage rolls.
The cabin will be in place until 16 February 2018.
