The Slaughters Country Inn

About The Slaughters Country Inn

Perched on the banks of the river Eye in the rural parish of Lower Slaughter, this Cotswold stone building was originally a trio of farm-workers’ cottages and a stable block. It became a boy’s cramming school for Eton in the 1920s, converted to a hotel in 1988 and was renovated by owners Andrew and Christina Brownsword in 2012. It now mixes original 17th-century features with contemporary design. The venue’s meeting rooms are flooded with natural light and all of them have AV technology and Wi-Fi. With 30 bedrooms, including cottages and suites, the property can cater for up to 60 overnight guests. Once business is concluded, delegates can enjoy an array of teambuilding activities and countryside pursuits, either within The Slaughters Country Inn’s four acres of informal gardens or nearby.
