Built in Tudor style by William Waldorf Astor at the
beginning of the 20th century, the Astor Wing connects
to the original Hever Castle by a covered bridge and
is designed specifically for events. The tranquil venue
houses the trio of interconnecting rooms that make up
the oak-panelled Tudor Suite, as well as 19 bedrooms.
With work out of the way, drinks receptions and dinners
can also take place in the Castle, and an outdoor heated
pool and tennis courts are close at hand. For adventurous
sorts, there are 600 acres to explore, with options
for quad biking and teambuilding pursuits, as well as the
championship course at Hever Castle Golf Club.
