National Football Museum

Urbis Building Cathedral Gardens, Manchester, Greater Manchester, M4 3BG

The National Football Museum is housed in Manchester’s distinctive URBIS building, a modern glass structure with an exterior that consists of 2,200 panes. The museum was brand new to the city in late 2012 and is filled with interactive galleries, hands-on exhibits – one where guests can take penalties in real Wembley goals – and rare collections. As a venue, it offers space for teambuilding, product launches, private dinners, cocktail receptions, evening panel discussions and Christmas parties. The Suite is its newest event space. It comes with its own reception area and a lift to the top floors, giving guests views of the city centre over dinner. Alternatively, events can be staged across the Hall of Fame and Galleries, which will accommodate up to 550 guests when combined. There’s also a 40-capacity immersive cinema available to hire for events. Catering at the venue is provided by Kudos.
