If you're looking for a unique wedding venue in Hertfordshire, steeped with character and history, as well as brilliant facilities and a well-organised team, Dyrham Park Country Club could be the perfect place for you. This Palladian Mansion in Hertfordshire boasts over 600 years of history with beautiful period features to match. The smart, cream-toned facade, for example, would make for a stunning backdrop for your wedding pictures, as would the 200 acres of surrounding gardens and woodland. 

Inside, The Entrance Hall will greet your guests and provide a charming backdrop for those initial 'hellos'. Then, it's on to The Grand Hall with a glittering chandelier and ceiling corning for reception drinks and canapes. Once the wedding breakfast is ready, your guests will be ushered into the Terrace Room, which has capacity for 140 people seated when using The Grand Hall for a dance floor, or 110 if you would rather keep the party in one space. 

There are four types of wedding packages which include a range of meal options, decorations and food and drinks ideas. As a standard, every couple will enjoy welcome drinks for their guests, as well as a toast, canapes and a three-course meal, decorations such as signage, table linens and centre pieces, a wedding car, bride's dressing room and much more. 

When it comes to food, the team are happy for you to use outside catering, but Dyrham Park Country Club is proud to offer a stand-out menu options themselves, cooked using the best ingredients. If you fancy going for something a little different, consider the afternoon tea package which includes drinks and nibbles, before a classical English afternoon tea - a fun twist on a wedding breakfast in the perfect setting. 

If opting for a traditional three-course menu some of the dishes you might expect to see include starters such as smoked salmon or smoked haddock fishcakes with baby leaf salad, mains like golden-roasted chicken breast supreme with dauphinoise potatoes and Tenderstem broccoli, and a dessert of sticky toffee pudding and toffee sauce with vanilla ice-cream.
