Donnington Valley is a hotel, spa and golf course in Newbury near Berkshire. It has 111 bedrooms, many of which overlook the 120 acres of gardens and golf course, and its restaurant has won the 2 AA rosette award. Just off the M4, the hotel is 30 minutes from Swindon, 40 minutes from Oxford, an hour from central London and 45 minutes from Heathrow Airport.
Donnington Valley boasts eight meeting rooms holding between 10 and 140 delegates. The largest of these, The Cromwell, is the most recently refurbished and is equipped with a private bar, air conditioning and grand high ceilings. This space can host up to 140 for dinner, although the seating can be adapted to suit the style of your event.
The Calverley Suite is a smart room perfectly suited to team building sessions and presentations. Up to 60 guests can be accomodated here, and the room can be split into two smaller spaces if preferred.
If you'd like to host a meeting or breakout session, the Boardroom Suite can host 10 people, and offers views of the Parkland gold course.
Its award-winning WinePress Restaurant serves up locally sourced dishes in an informal atmosphere and sits alongside a 50-capacity private dining room. The venue also hosts teambuilding activities, and can organise quad biking and laser clay pigeon shooting off site.
To ensure it really makes its mark as a group destination, the hotel offers a large health club and award-winning spa complex which has an 18m pool, a gym, a sauna and several treatment suites.
