Applying international cooking methods to British meats is the name of the game at Jamie Oliver’s sprawling steakhouse behind St Paul’s. It can host big events around an open kitchen that showcases an eclectic collection of barbecue hardware (robatas, Argentinian grills, Texas pit smokers). As well as offering set menus to show what all of this kit can do, the venue claims to house London’s largest whisky collection. Smaller parties should look at the 40-capacity PDR.
