Micheal Nadra Primrose Hill is the second restaurant from the eponymous chef who formerly opened Fish Hook, a modern, European seafood restaurant in Chelsea, before re-branding it to become the first in his self-named chain of eateries.
Throughout his career Nadra has worked with the likes of Gordan Ramsey and Anthony Demetre, gaining valuable experience at establishments such as The Glasshouse in Kew and The Atlantic in Piccadilly. With nearly 25 years in the hospitality industry and having mastered a breadth of mediums, Nadra brings his creativity and passion to his Primrose Hill restaurant.
Due to Nadra's classical French training, the menu draws influence from traditional European fare as well as modern, global dishes which are all prepared fresh, to order, using seasonal ingredients. If booking a table larger than eight people or using one of the brasserie's private dining spaces, guests are invited to order from the set menu. Here, there is ample choice across the three courses starting with salmon ceviche, broccoli, kale, almond and garlic soup or chicken pastilla with courgette, wild rocket and mint salad.
For mains, there's something for everyone with meat-focused, pescatarian and vegetarian dishes. The grilled lamb rump and Merguez sausage sounds delicious and is served with mashed potatoes, green beans
and rosemary jus, while the homemade tagliolini is stuffed with black truffle and porcini sauce and topped with with samphire and aged parmesan.
There are several private dining areas to choose from depending on the size and style of your party; for networking drinks the bar area with a capacity of 22 people works perfectly, offering a chic space to mingle with a beverage in hand and canapes (or the full menu) to snack on. Alternatively, the Fireplace Room is a cosy snug with space for 42 people to come together eat, drink and be merry. Its stylish leather booths and flickering raised fireplace couldn't be more atmospheric.
We also like the look of the Horse Tunnel, a Grade II listed vaulted space with exposed brick walls, creating a private, intimate nook for 26 of your favourite people to enjoy supper. Or, why not speak to the team about taking over the whole restaurant for a party no one will forget in a hurry!
