If you love a concept restaurant, then step this way as we introduce you to Beast. This unique offering asks the diner to imagine that they have been walking land and sea since the dawn of time, at one with nature and its bountiful gifts. Through a menu of high quality meats and seafood, diners are encouraged to connect with a selection of global producers and unique plethora of ingredients.

The restaurant is located within the warren of streets just a few moments from Oxford Street, and with an intentionally ambiguous entrance, offers a sort of 'man cave' to sink into once inside. Imagine rustic, exposed brick walls, long dining tables and suspended candlelight, within a colour scheme of earthy, natural hues.

If you're hankering for a closer look at the menu, expect to see the likes of whole Norwegian king crab, alongside globally sourced steaks such as chateaubriand, ribeye, porterhouse or sirloin. There is also a Japanese selection featuring Sakura pure Japanese Wagyu, and the restaurant holds an official Kobe bronze statue.

There's also some delicious-sounding cold dishes like bluefin tuna tartare with pomelo, chilli and lime, as well as burrata with caponata, pesto and pine nuts.

When it comes to desserts, we like the sound of the berry semifreddo with mint caviar, as well as the cheesecake with pistachio crumble. And, what goes perfectly with dessert? Cocktails of course! The team have devised a whole list of house signatures including Jalisco’s Cup with Corazon blanco tequila, berries and chilli shrub and Bruxo mezcal, as well as Bear takes on classics, like the Dry Daiquiri with Plantation 3 star rum, citrus, passion fruit and Campari.

And, if you're looking for somewhere to host your next special occasion, you could book in for the eight-course tasting menu, or enquire about hiring the restaurant exclusively for your use. It would make a great backdrop for a party.

Just had a great evening overall. The Staff is super frinedly and profetional. Food outstanding.

Overall, pretty good
Quality steaks and seafood. Rather overdid it on the wine and cocktails, which pushed the bill up rather steeply. Better in evenings than at lunch.

Unfortunately this place doesn't live up to the expectations and not worth the money. Food is tasty but nothing special and it's overpriced for what it is.

The wow factor diminishes quickly!
WE went on Friday night. As you walk down the stairs you are greeted by giant King Crab in giant water tanks, quite impressive to look at. Restaurant resembles a big canteen. You are seated on giant benches that hold up to 10 people , so get used to being jolted back and forward, very annoying after a while. Starters are a joke pickled onion , parmesan cheese, artichoke and olives, not great. We opted for the 75 menu per person. so top Michelin prices. Crab was good and tasty but very messy to eat. Steak was poor, mostly fat and gristle and was pretty tough., nowhere near as good as Goodmans. A few side dishes and sauces, but nothing to write home about. I'm sorry but 250 quid for two people with wine I expected a lot more. Far too noisy, a lot of big noisy groups of lads. But for that kind of money you could have your pick of the best restaurants in London, this is not one of them. Glad I experienced it, but its just not worth the huge outlay.
