History

Previously known as The Jolly Sailor, Fish on the Quay is a grade II listed building. Some parts date back to the 15th century, which are still visible today in the back part of our restaurant.

Fabulous 4 adults and 4 children - excellent meals on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The special, salmon en croute was really beautifully cooked. Great staff.

What an amazingly little charm We visited on 15th January, we rang ahead to ensure they accepted dogs which they did and booked us a table out the way. They were very accommodating and the friendly staff brought biscuits and water for our German shepherd. The food was amazing, the roast dinners were so delicious and such reasonable price for the portion sizes. They even did 2 sausages for our pup in which the chef even cut up for us. We are so happy with the service and the food we cannot wait to go back. Thank you for making our visit so lovely and relaxed. Thank you for accommodating our big pup who was so happy for the attention and the sausages!
