Our commitment to supporting local suppliers means that we can offer you the very best of Cornwall’s bountiful produce. As a seafood restaurant, the majority of our fish comes from George Cleave Fish Merchant in Port Isaac, our meat from Button Meats of Bodmin, and bread from the Chough Bakery in Padstow harbour. All of our vegetables come from West Country fine foods, and our local cheeses are supplied by Hanson’s fine foods.
At The Mote, we pride ourselves on using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients from our local suppliers. Our menus offer something for everyone, from light lunch options to mouth-watering dinner dishes and fun, nutritious meals for the little ones.
All of our dishes celebrate the bounty of the Cornish coast, and our chefs work closely with our suppliers to create innovative and delicious meals. And, of course, no meal is complete without a decadent dessert, which we craft using the finest local ingredients.

We ordered the takeout fish and chips and a local cider and we were not disappointed! Absolutely delicious, ate it on the beach. Might be the nicest fish and chips I have ever had. Worth every penny.

After a walk along the coastal path, I couldn’t wish for anywhere better to stop for a bite to eat, a cold drink & great atmosphere. The Mote is sat right on the edge of the harbour & serves amazing seafood & drink!
