a small, independent labour of love – imaginative small plates, dizzying wine line, fabulous service...Fourth and Church is an example of why we will always need restaurants...These people are kind of maniacs, and I love it

THE RESTAURANT

We borrow traditions from around the world to create new and exciting dishes that are packed with layers of umami flavour. We work with carefully selected local and regional producers to source fantastic seasonal produce, supporting artisanal producers and independent winemakers from across the UK and Europe. We love to share our passion and curiosity, bringing lovingly curated flavours from around the world to our local neighbourhood.

Follow us on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook for updates on what is on the menu, how-to guides and much more....

JOIN US FOR A DRINK

In our restaurant and at the bar we have an ever changing list of wines, Sherries and cocktails.

So many by the glass or you can take a look at our wines straight from the shelves, all individually priced.

Start with a vermouth based aperitif or a recommended glass of something sparkling, then dive into our menu and enjoy a selection of small plates, something from the Konro grill or a board of stunning Italian Charcuterie or British artisan cheese with a glass or two of something brilliant.

Upcoming Events

SUNDAY SESSIONS: A NEW SEASON - CELEBRATION OF SPRINGTIME Sunday 14th April 2024 1pm-4 pm

We are so excited to welcome and celebrate springtime with a Sunday Session that truly represents the passionate producers who work their land and their vines to produce glorious ingredients that contribute to our menus, and the grapes that become wine and truly reflect their terroir.

Springtime is such a great time for cooks, so many uplifting, light and fresh flavours. We will pull the wine selection together using the same approach, choosing a vibrant list of wine produced with minimal intervention, made by winemakers who work sympathetically with the land and a hands-off approach.

Adam, Sam and the team have sourced some delicious new season ingredients from the local area and beyond so lunch will be the perfect antidote to the all-familiar grey winter days.

This is a ticketed event with limited numbers, please follow the link for more information to purchase your ticket priced at £95 per person.

BARSTOOL SESSIONS: AN EVENING WITH REGAL ROGUE VERMOUTH - APERITIFS AND COCKTAILS - Thursday 23rd MAy 7.30-9.30pm

Join us for an exciting Barstool Session with our friends at Regal Rogue Vermouth.

This unique range of Vermouth is led by the marriage of 100% organic Australian wine and Aboriginal herbs and spices, sourced directly from Aboriginal farmers. Working with the celebrated winemaker, Justin Jarrett, they select grapes from his organic vineyard as the base wine for their Vermouth, creating a fresh, natural range of wine Aperitifs.

We will taste through their four Vermouths, before creating a range of aperitifs and cocktails for you to try, alongside some delicious snacks and small plates. The team will be on hand to tell you everything you need to know about this unique range and how to mix them up

We will start at 7.30 till 9.30, you are of course welcome to stay post-event to double back on another glass or plate or two!

BOOK YOUR TICKET HERE!

Please note we will be seated around the bar and will taste the base wines that make up the Vermouths and then some cocktails and Aperitifs alongside some small snacks.

The menu has been carefully paired so it is difficult to substitute dishes or cater for allergies.

Good Food Guide top 100 Local Restaurants

Last year we were listed as one of the top 100 Local Restaurants in Britain. This recognition means so much to the team at Fourth and Church and helps us get our name out there!

We would be really grateful if you would nominate us for the Good Food Guide Best Local Restaurant

The criteria are areas we really work hard on, from our menus to our relationships suppliers (including the actual wine makers in many cases!) to welcoming our guests:

- Independently run; owned by the chef or a hands-on proprietor

- Offer regularly changing, seasonal menus at affordable prices

- Demonstrate strong relationships with local suppliers

- Rooted in the local community

- Offer at least two dinner services a week

- Give customers a genuine, warm welcome

Thanks for your support - Paul, Sam and Team
