Found in Fitzrovia, Seasons is a charming bistro which serves a menu that is a celebration of all things fish and seafood. Seasons Fitzrovia is part of the global Seasons group, which currently operates sites in glitzy locations such as Miami and New York, as well as a handful of outposts in London - Notting Hill, Kensington, Bayswater, Chelsea and Mayfair.
The Fitzrovia outpost of Seasons boasts a rustic-chic look, with the dining room featuring tiled flooring, leather wrapped chairs and shelves lined with bottles of wine and pantry staples. Look out for cutesy touches too, like specials written up in chalk on blackboards and potted plants found on table tops and tucked away in corners.
The menu at Seasons Fitzrovia is an a la carte offering which is underpinned by the restaurant’s three core principles: always fresh, great taste and local sourcing. Kickstart your meal with your choice of starters and salads, which includes a truffle and celeriac salad or a pot of mussels stewed in garlic and white wine. Next up, you can take your pick from the raw fish bar, which offers oysters, a sashimi platter or prawn and fennel tartare. If you are after a more traditional main course though, you can opt for dishes such as seafood risotto or spaghetti al pomodoro. There are a range of hearty burgers available too, offering rather unique creations such as a prawn burger or an octopus and fennel burger.
To round things off, tuck into one of Seasons Fitzrovia’s tempting puddings - think chocolate mousse topped with salted caramel or a slice of baked strawberry cheesecake. You can finish up with teas and coffees, or if you are in the mood to celebrate, peruse Seasons list of European-led wines and spirits. There is a range of fun house cocktails available, too.
