Rockfish’s modern take on the British chippie sits on the quayside overlooking the Dart Estuary – a colourful, welcoming, family-friendly venue that comes with solid foodie credentials (it’s

landed at Brixham harbour, although haddock and cod are sourced from sustainable Norwegian stocks. The wide-ranging, no-nonsense menu is a crowd pleaser, so have your chosen species battered (maybe
red gurnard), breadcrumbed (perhaps monkfish) or simply grilled (sea bass). Chips are de rigueur and everything is served in takeout-style boxes with all the traditional accessories (mushy peas,
