Wish I could give a better review, but...
Came here a few times when we moved to the area, thought the food was absolutely lovely, although wine list not too great, but very friendly family running the place, generally our new favourite restaurant. Unfortunately then took friends and extended family a couple of times, having raved about it, and the service was downright appalling - glacially slow, confused, generally chaotic, even with hardly anyone else in there. Took my 2 year old niece for a family birthday, waited over an hour for starters (with place almost empty early lunchtime,) & they didn't even offer her anything to eat while we waited, despite me asking the waitress 3 times - just got a blank look before she wandered off. In an Italian restaurant, which is supposed to welcome small children!!
Could be fabulous, if they'd just get their staffing & service consistent. Not been back since, still too cross.
