From Monday 9 February to Monday 2 March, D&D is transforming their annual Love Wine festival by taking inspiration from the world of film. Love Wine and Film will showcase a range of movie-related wines displaying a smorgasbord of producers, styles and regions.
D&D has been running the festival, which is always around Valentine’s Day, since 2011 and this year there’ll be plenty of exciting events to try during the week. Punters can sample wine from renowned actor Sam Neill (his company Two Paddocks has been making Pinot Noir since 1993) and Academy Award-winning film director Francis Ford Coppola. The Movie and Moët night, will combine Moët & Chandon Imperial Champagne with truffle popcorn and
The Great Gatsby, for the ultimate cinematic experience. And if you’ve ever wondered what Helen Mirren and Michael Sheen’s favourite wines are, then you’ll get a chance to try them at the Movie Stars’ Favourite Wines night.
