A UK road trip is in order as The Astor Grill at Cliveden House, Berkshire, opens today. André Garrett will head up the all-day dining concept, alongside his namesake restaurant at this quintessential country house hotel, best known to many for its connection with the Profumo Affair.
This new addition signals the hotel’s modern mentality in creating a more informal restaurant to complement its grand dining room. The 38-seat Astor Grill is located in the Duke of Westminster’s stables adjacent to the main house and will serve a menu of British and American classics, befitting the history of the hotel and its clientele.
