Gordon Ramsay is to open a new restaurant on
Heddon Street, close to Piccadilly Circus, this autumn.
Heddon Street Kitchen will be similar in both style and food offer to Bread Street Kitchen in the City
and it will take over the property formerly occupied by The Living Room, which closed last November.
The restaurant will be Ramsay’s thirteenth in the capital, but his first in the West End outside of Mayfair.
Gordon Ramsay Group managing director Stuart Gillies said, ‘It's a really exciting site for the Gordon Ramsay Group which will see us expand into a new part of London. The site and location lends
itself perfectly to an all-day dining concept which will take inspiration from Bread Street Kitchen.’
Bread Street Kitchen offers a wide-ranging menu of international dishes and it has been praised for its ‘buzzy’ atmosphere. It is among the most-booked restaurants on SquareMeal.co.uk in the past
year, and a second branch is set to open in Hong Kong in September.
Meanwhile, Ramsay is also expected to open a new restaurant in Chelsea later this year, though details are yet to be confirmed.
