Everyone loves a post-night-out kebab, but of course Middle Eastern cuisine isn’t just good booze food. Forget hangover cures: the phenomenal success of the likes of Islington’s Black Axe Mangal and Berber & Q in Haggerston have put it firmly on the London food map.
Thanks to Berber & Q’s success, co-founders Mattia Bianchi and Josh Katz are opening a second site in Exmouth Market on Monday. Specialising in sizzling lamb and rotisserie chicken, Berber & Q Shawarma Bar will even include a takeaway hatch (for those tipsy kebab moments).
