Gluten-free restaurants in London

Our round-up of the best restaurants for gluten-free diners in the capital

Updated on 07 October 2019

Eating out in London if you’re gluten intolerant or have coeliac disease can be a tricky business, and these days more and more of us are choosing to go gluten free as a lifestyle choice. We always want our readers to enjoy eating out in the capital with confidence, which is why we’ve compiled a list of the best gluten-free restaurants London has to offer.

Our picks below include restaurants that offer a gluten-free menu alongside its regular menus, restaurants that are blessed with clued-up staff who can direct you to a tasty range of gluten-free options, or are entirely gluten-free (and therefore one hundred per cent safe for coeliacs) spots. Most of the below also offer information on other allergens too, so if you follow a gluten- and dairy-free diet, you can still find somewhere great to eat.

We’ve tried to include a good mix of independent and chain restaurants to allow for variety and to ensure that most areas of London are covered, so whether you’re searching for a good gluten-free restaurant for a coeliac sufferer or a gluten-free restaurant menu in London, you’ve come to the right place.

Honest Burgers Liverpool Street

Honest Burgers Liverpool Street

12 Widegate Street, London, E1 7HP

With 35 restaurants (and counting), Honest Burgers is a great shout for gluten-free diners. Each location has a clear allergens list, which states which dishes contain gluten so you can order without any anxiety. What’s more, if you view the allergens menu online, you can filter out any dishes containing gluten by selecting the ‘gluten/wheat’ tab. And don’t worry – tons of the menu is gluten-friendly so you’re sure to find something you like the look of, honest.
