Iconic fish restaurant Kensington Place will launch a pop-up restaurant in February. Named FISHBone, it will be a ‘unique fish and seafood spin on the gourmet fast-food trend’
running throughout the month.
Situated in what was formerly the restaurant’s private dining room, the pop-up will seat 36 diners on a communal table and will be open from
Tuesdays to Saturdays for lunch and dinner.
Head chef Dan Loftin has devised the menu, which features salmon doner kebabs, pulled skate with beurre noisette and capers, and hot-dog style scallopdogs with brown shrimps. Sides will include
‘prawnish pasties’ and crab bhajis, with everything served on trays for sharing. Drinks will include white-wine sangria, sake and a selection of British beers and spirits.
