One of Brighton’s most popular restaurants will arrive in
London next month as part of an Artist Residence hotel set to open in Pimlico.
The boutique hotel company has sites in Brighton and Penzance, and will launch its third hotel close to Victoria station at the end of August.
The hotel team has also partnered with chef-proprietor Michael Bremner to bring a branch of his 64 Degrees restaurant to the capital. Set within the Pimlico hotel, this restaurant will followthe
same format as the Brighton original, which was recently voted 34th best restaurant in the UK in the National
Restaurant Awards.
At the Brighton restaurant, Bremner offers a daily-changing menu of internationally-influenced small plates based around simple, seasonal British ingredients. He will also oversee the new 64
Degrees, and Londoners can expect the same style of food. Examples from previous menus include lamb with bok choy, clams and mango; chicken wings with blue cheese and kimchi; and venison with
celeriac, red cabbage and hazelnut.
The hotel will also include a relaxed and intimate cocktail lounge, which will be open to the public as well as hotel guests.
The hotel, which will feature 10 individually-designed rooms, will open at 52 Cambridge Street. The exact opening date is to be confirmed.
