Unstoppable Jamie Oliver strikes again – this time with a zany pop-up diner not far from Piccadilly Circus. With help from eco-chef Arthur Potts Dawson and artist Jay Jay Burridge, he has created a funky space filled with kid-friendly artworks, sculptures and even mock-up dinosaurs. The emphasis is on healthy, sustainable ingredients and fun, with flavours from all over the planet and dishes ranging from steaks and salads to savoury waffles backed by hero condiments such as ketchups, BBQ sauces and Piccadilly piccalilli. There’s also room for a ‘doghouse’ dispensing artisan hot dogs with all the trimmings, plus a line-up of on-trend drinks – think London-brewed beers, old-fashioned cordials and fro-yo shakes. Also expect music and resident DJs in due course. Note that this is primarily a take-out joint, with a few tables dotted around.
