‘An absolutely delightful pizzeria’, exclaimed one fan – no wonder, given that the kitchen can rustle up perfect examples of the genre (crisp, supermodel-skinny bases, a lick of tomato,
good-quality mozzarella and a drizzle of olive oil, plus excellent toppings). Authenticity counts for a great deal here, and you can gauge the success of this Italian-owned set-up by the piles of
empty plates and wine glasses left by the Blackfriars hordes every lunchtime. Classic flavours abound, including milano (with ham and asparagus), juventus (artichokes and pepperoni) or the
Pavarotti (‘something to sing about’). But innovation counts, too: wholemeal pizzas are on offer and new pastas are chalked up regularly. Service is ‘amazing’, and in summer, City workers enjoy the
‘dappled sunlight’ of the leafy, piazza-style terrace beyond Harry’s baroque facade while sipping from the modest, Italian-leaning wine list.

Had the neapolitan pizza and loved it!

An absolutely delightful pizzeria serving authentic and delicious Italian home made pizza and pasta. We ate outside in the dappled sunlight of the trees. The service is amazing and so friendly. They coped admirably with our party of 12 all arriving at different times and with a deadline to be at the theatre on time.
They even charged my mobile phone for me and when the owner of the restaurant realised I had forgotten to collect my phone when I left for the theatre, he personally delivered my phone and charger to the theatre which is a 5 minute walk away. That's what I call service!
