From the team behind butchery mini-chain Macellaio RC comes this gluten, dairy and sugar-free Italian restaurant. Ardiciocca takes pride in its fastidious sourcing, using produce exclusively from small farms and producers around the world, while fermentation is also a big theme on the menu. Starters include marinated and flamed mackerel with kimchi cucumber, dill and coconut yoghurt, while mains see slow-cooked lamb with kimchi, and grilled artichoke with hummus, pine nuts and bottarga. Desserts meanwhile include matcha tea ice cream with pure chocolate, and an almond tiramisu. In keeping with Ardiciocca’s focus on the natural, the wine list features solely organic and biodynamic wines, including a range of orange wines sitting alongside the standard red, white, rosé and sparkling options.
