OPENS END OF OCTOBER 2017
Following an extremely busy 2016, a year in which it seemed a food-related pop-up wasn’t complete unless he had a hand in it, Adam Rawson has set up shop permanently in Notting Hill. Rawson first rose to prominence as head chef at Marylebone’s Pachamama, before moving on to a series of projects, carving out a reputation for great burgers in particular: he won London’s burger competition Slider Decider in 2015 and 2016. Running throughout the winter of 2016/17, his residency at Fitzrovia boozer The George & Dragon included a ‘Global Traveller Burger’ menu, including a Peruvian-inspired chicharrón burger with chilli-pepper ketchup and starters such as an ‘nduja sausage and rosemary Scotch egg. Rawson’s global leanings are also a major part of his new restaurant and, as is de rigueur currently, the seasonal menu is designed for sharing.
