Whatever you’re craving, from small bites to eat, to bigger meals and bottles of rare wines, the 1900 Restaurant has something for everyone. The menu begins with starters which can see anything from a house baked bread roll and genovese focaccia with truffled ricotta and whipped butter to a roasted butternut squash and couscous salad with pomegranate, dukkah spice, pumpkin seeds, kale and marinated bell peppers.
For mains you can expect dishes to include the likes of homemade wild boar and sage sausages with a ratte potato purée, plum jus and cider braised red cabbage, or coronation roast cauliflower with a hazelnut purée, cider reduction and cauliflower tartare. With desserts offering an equally tempting selection such as a millionaire chocolate and hazelnut wheel with a forest fruits sorbet and brownie crumble.
Whilst the restaurant is only open in the evenings, the 1900 Bar is an all day event. Beyond a carefully curated list of wines, beers and spirits, there’s a food menu that offers an accumulation of the nation's favourite dishes. Think crispy chicken burger, fish and chips, chicken tikka masala and an extensive list of pizzas.
